     Welcome to O's n X's French Bulldogs!

Ever since I was a young girl, I have always enjoyed watching dog shows and dreamt about one day being on that screen.  I loved all the breeds of dogs but had a soft spot for the "bully" breeds.  Working as a Certified Veterinary Technician, I met a frenchie and instantly knew this was the breed for me.  At that time, I didn't have the ability to show and breed, so I set out to find a "pet" frenchie.  That's when I found a sweet little girl named Clair Bell ( In Memoriam page).  Having one frenchie just isn't enough, so when Cooper ( In Memoriam page) came into my life, I was delighted.  I finally had a chance to begin to live my dream.  I entered him in a dog show and immediately became hooked.  After a lot of handling classes and a few mistakes, he became my first owner/handled dog to earn their Champion title.  Next came Piper, my foundation bitch.  She produced one litter which included my first home-bred Champion shown exclusively in the Bred-By class.  Over the next few years, I finished seven frenchies, four from the Bred-By class.  And that's the way we became the O's n X's Bunch!

The goals in my breeding program are to produce happy and healthy puppies and to strive to adhere to the AKC breed standard.  Having been a Certified Veterinary Technician for 15 years, I believe that my knowledge has helped me to breed better dogs.  I have attended many breeding and behavioral seminars and still attend continuing education seminars to increase my ability to produce quality dogs.  The physical and mental well-being of my puppies are my first priority.  In order to do this, I raise all of my puppies in my home and begin to socialize and train them as soon as they are born.  Many of my dogs have earned their Canine Good Citizen certificates, or CGC, and have proven that they are good-natured and cooperative.  I also fully health test all of my breeding dogs, to ensure that they produce puppies as sound or better than they are.  Competing in conformation events to me is an important way to show how well my breeding dogs conform to the breed standard.  It is also a great way to socialize them with people and other dogs.  I am now beginning to train to compete in Agility and Rally.  I am an AKC Breeder Of Merit and a member of the French Bulldog Club of America.  I am also a foster parent through several french bulldog rescue groups.  I recently started my own training business, The Collaborate Canine, LLC.  I am also a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and a Canine Good Citizen Evaluator.
